I recently came across a story about a new kind of law firm called Crosby. At first, what caught my attention was simple: AI is reviewing legal contracts. Crosby describes itself not simply as a software company selling AI to lawyers, but as an AI-native law firm. Its AI agents process contract work while experienced lawyers remain involved for legal judgment and accuracy. The firm says it stands behind its work and carries malpractice insurance. Crosby says that when it launched in 2025, its median contract review time was 58 minutes.
