One of my favorite parts of the day has become reading.

Not just books.

But the stories shaping our world.

Every morning, I spend a little time reading about AI, faith, education, business, and creativity—not because I want to know every headline, but because I’m curious about where our world is quietly heading.

Today, I found myself reading longer than usual.

There wasn’t one dramatic headline that changed everything.

Instead, several different stories seemed to connect like pieces of the same puzzle.

So today, I’d simply like to share a few things I read—and the thoughts they left with me.

The first story came from Reuters.

Leaders from banking, technology, healthcare, and other industries are beginning to work together on AI risk management. The conversation is no longer just about building smarter systems. It’s becoming equally about responsibility, trust, and how these technologies should be used in everyday life.

As I read that, I couldn’t help thinking about my own journey.

These days, ChatGPT and Gemini have quietly become part of my daily routine. I use them as research partners, translators, brainstorming companions, and learning tools.

There are still other AI platforms I’d love to explore—Claude for writing, Higgsfield for creative visuals, and Suno for music.

But like many creators, I also have to think about monthly subscriptions.

Every exciting new tool asks the same practical question:

Is this truly worth investing in right now?

That felt surprisingly similar to today’s business headlines.

AI is no longer simply about trying everything.

It’s about choosing wisely.

Another story caught my attention in education.

Schools across the United States—including innovative programs in places like Texas—are experimenting with ways to integrate AI into learning. Rather than replacing teachers, many educators are asking how AI can help students become better thinkers, ask stronger questions, and prepare for a future where this technology will simply be part of everyday life.

I actually find that encouraging.

Perhaps our children won’t need to know every answer.

Perhaps they’ll need to know how to ask better questions.

As I continued reading, another story reminded me that faith still has something important to contribute to this conversation.

Church leaders continue encouraging us to see technology as a gift—but never as something that replaces human dignity, relationships, wisdom, or compassion.

That may have been my favorite thought of the morning.

Because no matter how quickly AI evolves…

kindness still matters.

Integrity still matters.

Faith still matters.

And perhaps those are the qualities that will help us use technology well.

Maybe that’s the question worth carrying into tomorrow.
